Legis appoints Anna Storey as COO of fund admin

Legis Group has recruited Anna Storey as COO of its fund administration division, Legis Fund Services.

Prior to this appointment, Storey worked as head of company secretary at State Street, where she was responsible for the provision of company secretarial services to all Guernsey administered client structures.

Stuart Platt-Ransom, group managing director at Legis Group, said: “Taking on board an individual as experienced as Storey further strengthens the senior management team at Legis and underpins our ethos to be a best of breed independent.”

Storey, said: “I am excited to join a company whose approach is forward thinking. I am looking forward to adding to the wealth of knowledge that exists within the company as it continues to develop and grow.”

At the beginning of October, Legis Group launched a tax service—led by a new management team—offering individual tax compliance and advisory services to private clients, owner-managed businesses and local trust and fund administration companies.

Managing director of Legis tax services, Simon Graham, said: “The Legis Group philosophy and culture is to place client needs at the forefront of all business activity and it is a great fit with our team who firmly believe in putting the client first.”

”What sets us apart from our peers is that we provide a one-to-one service. We are approachable and have the ability to deal with complex tax issues and explain them in a clear concise manner.”
